Laimburg Research Centre (Italy) and partners are looking for an experienced Horizon Europe coordinator for BioSolar, a proposal under HORIZON-NEB-2026-01-REGEN-03. The project aims to develop and demonstrate multifunctional solutions combining building-integrated greening and photovoltaic systems on roofs and façades, addressing energy production, biodiversity, cooling, rainwater retention, architectural quality and human well-being simultaneously. Demonstration and experimental sites in Italy, Slovenia, Slovakia and Austria will test and validate these integrated solutions, building on Laimburg’s long-term BioSolar Roof demonstrator. The project ultimately seeks transferable solutions and guidance for wider European uptake across different climatic and regulatory contexts. The expression of interest deadline is 2 October 2026, while the call closes on 1 December 2026.
